Oh Vikings.....Oh baby!

Oh Vikings....too bad.  Chris and I had a good time watching the game at Greg, Nicole & Simone's with them and the Struves.  It was a fun time, but man....what a game.  We don't need to say more.....other than that....

Here's a 15 week belly pic!  I sported my new Brett Favre jersey, even if it is just for this one game.  Little baby Popp is growing....I can definitely see a little bump now....even if I just feel "thick".  This week, I'm well into my 2nd trimester.  I should be feeling better...but I still get the occasional "sick" feeling.  Usually, it hits directly after lunch (the nausea).  A little Vitamin B6 and Unisom usually help a little bit.  It's just been so random, though too...normally, it's triggered by weird random smells, or getting overheated in the morning, as I'm walking out the door.  But, it hasn't been at just one time of the day, either...any time of day.

Onto more fun things....I think I have been feeling baby move this week...or it may be that my belly is just starting to grow and stretch.  I haven't felt what some people say is bubbles, or butterflies, but more like little twinges...not painful or anything, but just a little movement.  I'm sure it will feel more definite as baby continues to get bigger!

We also made our first baby purchase last weekend.  Our new stroller! Thanks Kari, for demonstrating all of the great things about it!!! I knew when I saw it, and tried it out that that was the one I wanted.  Of course, Muggles claimed it as her new little resting place.  I knew this would happen right away, as I started putting it together.  She hopped right on, and claimed it as her own.

She looks ready for a walk.  She hopped up here herself.  Luckily, she hasn't seemed to be all that interested since that evening.  Just that new thing of interest to explore!  So exciting to start bringing some baby things home!

We're Expecting!

Yep, it's that time...Belly Pics!

7 weeks

9 weeks

12 weeks

And...our first pics of baby Popp!!

We had our first ultrasound Dec. 29, baby is 11 weeks, 4 days (or so).

We got to see baby's heartbeat, and even baby stretch....so cute!

Ultrasounds are not like a real photo, but still so cool to see, especially when they are moving!  Here's baby's legs!

And, baby's hands.

Here's baby waving at us! We can't wait for our next ultrasound!
And, we definitely can't wait to meet our little peanut!

It's Roofing Time!

We had a very eventful October, when we had a storm one weekend, and it started raining in our living room and dininr room.  We decided it was time for a new roof.  And, we enlisted the help of many family and friends as we fixed it! We ended up replacing many boards under the shingles as well, as you can see by the hole in our roof in the photo above!

Mighty Chris...getting to be Tool Man Chris.

Here is Bill, inside the house!

Thanks for all of your help Chelsey!

We finished just in time for the snow to fly!

Happy Halloween!

TC Marathon, 2009

This year, we knew a few people running in the marathon.  A bunch of family and friends gathered at the Lillehei's to cheer people on.  They had signed up for a cheer zone, and were rated on it, in competition.  The theme was "Irish".  They/we ended up getting 2nd place out of the whole marathon!  Amy and her friend helped immensely with their Irish Dancing, to help the runners continue on! Some fun entertainment!

Here comes Brian!

Next came Corinne!

Go Megan!

Then, Chris' friend, Kalina.  He carried a pack and the American Flag the entire marathon! Craziness!

Here is stop # 2 for us, on Summit Ave., with just a few more miles to go.

Go Brian!

Go Megan!

At the end of the race! It's good to be finished!

Fall fun with Grandma!

Jenny's Grandma Edith turned 95 this September!
We celebrated with the fam, and the usual DQ birthday cake!

Just a week later, we got a random phone call from my Grandma's cousin, Ingrid, who we stayed with in Sweden.  We had no idea that she was in Minnesota! She had decided to come and visit the US for her 95th birthday.  Their birthdays are 1 week apart.  We surprised my grandma by bringing her to see Ingrid.  She had no idea who it was at first.  But then, they truly enjoyed their time together.

In October, mom and I brought Grandma up to dad's cousin's farm to go on a hayride, and gather some pumpkins, gourds and Indian corn.  We got into the hayride by using the mouth of the tractor while sitting on a hay bail!

 Lots of family.

Pretty fall colors.

It was pretty chilly, so here's Grandma, all bundled up!

Crazy catch up!!Tri-Quest, September, 2009

We went down to La Crosse for Chris to participate in Tri-Quest once again.  This year, Dennis was a participant instead of being in charge of it.  It was a big family event, once again!

Chris teamed up with Corinne this year, and Jenny and Amy had a good time helping Kari take photos of the event.

Chris running the 5K!  Lookin' Good!

We were having way too much fun while everyone else was working so hard!

Look at how high Amy can jump! Crazy!

Here comes Chris...even smiling!

Corinne and Jenny's matching shorts! So cute!
