Fall fun with Grandma!

Jenny's Grandma Edith turned 95 this September!
We celebrated with the fam, and the usual DQ birthday cake!

Just a week later, we got a random phone call from my Grandma's cousin, Ingrid, who we stayed with in Sweden.  We had no idea that she was in Minnesota! She had decided to come and visit the US for her 95th birthday.  Their birthdays are 1 week apart.  We surprised my grandma by bringing her to see Ingrid.  She had no idea who it was at first.  But then, they truly enjoyed their time together.

In October, mom and I brought Grandma up to dad's cousin's farm to go on a hayride, and gather some pumpkins, gourds and Indian corn.  We got into the hayride by using the mouth of the tractor while sitting on a hay bail!

 Lots of family.

Pretty fall colors.

It was pretty chilly, so here's Grandma, all bundled up!

Crazy catch up!!Tri-Quest, September, 2009

We went down to La Crosse for Chris to participate in Tri-Quest once again.  This year, Dennis was a participant instead of being in charge of it.  It was a big family event, once again!

Chris teamed up with Corinne this year, and Jenny and Amy had a good time helping Kari take photos of the event.

Chris running the 5K!  Lookin' Good!

We were having way too much fun while everyone else was working so hard!

Look at how high Amy can jump! Crazy!

Here comes Chris...even smiling!

Corinne and Jenny's matching shorts! So cute!

Wedding

This past Saturday, we celebrated with our friends, the marriage of Carolynne and Ryan Ladd! They are a great couple and we wish them all the best!

The wedding party looked great!

And of course, the bride and groom!

The flowers were beautiful at the reception.

Table 12 was where the party was at!

The happy couple!

Beth and Jesse.

Nicole, Beth and Jenny. Yes...we are always normal.

And, this week, we said goodbye to our wonderful Copper. She is now living with Jenny's cousin, Corinne. We are happy that she has been able to take her in. Muggles and Copper just didn't really get along very well...so, we thought we would try to find her a good home. Thanks Corinne!

Copper absolutely LOVED Chris' new hiking boots. She couldn't keep her face out of them!

We got a new couch this past month, and Muggles adores it! She loves to nestle into her favorite little spot and sit on her "throne".

This is the box that Copper liked to hide out in. Here, Muggles jumped on in, and Copper snuck up on the top to see what she was doing. Suprisingly, there was no attack here!

Happy Lost Birthday Jenny!

I celebrated my big 3-1 with a LOST-themed birthday bash. It was lots of fun. I dressed up as Claire, and Chris dressed up as John Locke.

Here I am as Claire, Josh as Charlie, and Brian as Hurley. It was fun to dress up!

Amy as Juliet.

Here is a Dharma "drop".

Dynamite from the Black Rock.

Some Dharma Beer and Hurley's Connect 4.

We had Dharma everything...beer, soda, chops, chocolate!

Here is my Lost "Crash Island" birthday cake.

Brian, I mean Hurley, and his lucky lotto ticket. Funny enough, he won 2 lottos tickets with our costume contest and random game.

Amy and Josh (Juliet and Charlie).

We loved Brian's shirt reading..."I'm just one big freaking ray of sunshine, aren't I?". It was quite funny.

Sawyer's Dharma biscuits.

Andy as Jack. Nice tatoos!
